SEN Information and Policy

Our policy is to provide an environment in which children with special educational needs or disabilities are supported to reach their full potential.

• Our premises are purpose built offering disabled access including wide doorways and a ramp.

• The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) is responsible for leading provision for children with special educational needs or disabilities.  

• All practitioners attend in-house training to ensure up to date knowledge.

• We work closely with other professionals to ensure a consistent approach e.g. hearing impairment service, speech & language therapists,

• We use the BLAST language programme and Letters and Sounds to aid language development

• Small group work
